EVENTS SALES MANAGER
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
 
The EVENTS SALES MANAGER is responsible for managing the sales efforts of the company with respect to its social and corporate events services. He or she shall oversee the sales aspect of an event from sourcing leads and answering inquiries to catering to the event needs of the clients.
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Managing the event sales team to ensure that sales targets are achieved.
Developing pricing strategies based on market conditions, customer demographics, and competition
Communicating with clients to determine their needs and objectives in order to create a successful and memorable event
Creating event budget and monitors expenses during events to ensure that costs are within budget guidelines
Developing and implementing an event marketing plan that aligns with the client's objectives, including identifying target audiences and creating promotional materials such as brochures or flyers
Negotiating contracts with vendors to secure services such as catering, entertainment, or venue rental
Managing the budget for an event, including costs for labor, catering, decorations, and equipment rental
Coordinating with marketing staff to create a marketing plan for an event that includes promotion through social media and other channels such as direct mail or email.
Other tasks which may be assigned from time to time
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma / Master's Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Commerce, Marketing or equivalent.
Candidate must have at least two years of relevant event sales experience.
Guest and service-oriented
Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
Must have advanced working knowledge on MS Office and Google Workspace
Has the ability to create and present comprehensive reports to management
Is able to work independently and well in a fast-paced environment
