Job Description
JOB SUMMARY:
The Manager for Enterprise Systems is responsible for building and maintaining a positive relationship between IT, Business stakeholders, and 3rd party vendors in delivering IT services.
The role also balances the workload between in-house and outsourced resources combined with managing ongoing enterprise systems-related projects, in that, the role coordinates all aspects of the business life-cycle and implementation of change control procedures while demonstrating the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Allocates resources to projects and manages stakeholder expectations. Provides leadership, training, coaching, and guidance to team members.
Also responsible for developing, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards. Establishes strategic goals by gathering pertinent business, financial, and operations information and prepares an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
Business analysis
Collaborates with project sponsors to determine project scope and vision.
Clearly identifies project stakeholders and establishes customer classes, as well as their characteristics
Understands how organizations function to accomplish their purpose and define the capabilities an organization requires to provide a service or meet their goals
Ensures that the business analyst teams are trained, and are able to effectively and consistently use supporting application life cycle management tools.
Involves designing process flows, writing requirements, and testing systems to meet customer needs and contract requirements.
Gathers and analyzes business and stakeholder requirements, including validation and traceability, for existing and new applications supporting various business channels.
Provides input to the requirements baseline and investigates, manages, and applies authorized requests for changes to baselined requirements, in line with change management policy
Facilitates communication between organizational units to align the needs of business units in order to create requirements for solution providers.
Acts as liaison between the user community and internal IT resources. Find ways to increase productivity and efficiency.
Has in-depth knowledge of business analysis tools and techniques aligned with BABOK
Conversant with techniques covering a full range of modeling situations.
Business process management
Evaluates existing business processes.
Evaluates business processes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement, and develop and implement solutions.
Coordinates business process improvement strategies with internal stakeholders.
Oversees all aspects related to the implementation stages of business process improvement initiatives.
Analyzes and monitors implemented changes to business processes and makes adjustments as needed.
Coordinates with different departments and organizes cross-functional teams to know the requirements for the improvement of the process.
Trains and educates the individuals involved in the management and operation of different business processes
Enterprise System Maintenance
Ensures ERP system is operating effectively, and will actively coordinate across multiple business administrative departments, as well as regularly engage end-users to improve the experience
Lead contact to the ERP vendor and responsible for coordinating all updates to the system, reporting and tracking functional and technical issues.
Oversee the subscription management of the system
Coordinates and govern the evolution and customization in the future.
Provides user support and training for the ERP, maintain a knowledge base for departments throughout the company and create documentation as well as promotes best practices in the utilization of the application.
Manage annual budgeting for third-party engagement
Manage support requests with the ERP vendor and related ERP support vendors
Project Management
Ensures tasks, milestones, timelines, resources, and other details are clearly communicated to the business owners
Prepares and submits regular status reports to relevant stakeholders, indicating tasks completed, risk assessment, issues encountered and other items requiring management action
Manages projects according to approved project management standards to ensure agreed scope, schedule, budget, and objectives are met
Qualifications
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
At least 5 years of managerial experience in the IT field
Extensive experience in technical support to Enterprise Systems (e.g. ERP, CRM, etc) or any software applications including new implementations, upgrades, and maintenance
Demonstrated experience in delivering Business Analysis (BA), Business Process Management
Demonstrated ability in delivering business models using standards such as UML
Experience in using the following techniques but not limited to Use Cases, User Stories, Prototyping, Process Modelling, Process Analysis, Business Rules Analysis, Workshops, Interview, Brainstorming, Focus Group, Data Modeling, Root Cause Analysis, Functional Decomposition
Understands the agile methodologies and has participated in a SCRUM team effort for delivering solutions to requirements
Experience in IT Professional Consulting
Previous experience in software testing
Strong team leadership and development skills
Exceptional knowledge of service and application delivery, as well as successful service level agreement accomplishments.
Experienced in working on large-scale projects with demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple tasks at any given point
Adept in building relationships and partnering with the business as well as strong communication skills
Experienced in planning, design, and delivery of significant business technology projects
