Our US Partner is an independent agency that has access to over 25 different insurance companies for the various lines that we offer. For any line you might need, we have numerous companies to choose from.
 
The Customer Service Specialist will be in charge of taking calls and processing payments. This person will be the front line on the operations team and support both personal and commercial lines.
 
This is a full-time role, on a US shift and on a Hybrid (Onsite/WFH) set-up.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Answering phone calls into the office, forwarding them to the right Account Manager, or troubleshooting a simple question (billing, carrier question) all coverage questions will be directed to the Account Manager.
Asking the insured/prospective new client how they can help such as taking new business information, making a payment, and taking down new vehicle information.
Taking new business information based on a template
Taking payments on our individual company websites.
Creating new client profiles in AMS
Handling our cancellation/past due billing (this will include logging into our carrier sites, pulling a list of policies in cancellation, then uploading that to an Excel document, then reaching out to the insureds to notify them of payment due, and then processing payments)
Providing ID Cars for current clients purchasing/leasing new vehicles
Providing Certificates of Insurance for Current Commercial Clients (within a standardized format which we will discuss)
Taking messages, then emailing messages to account managers
Forwarding calls to account managers' voicemails
Taking payments for insureds
Taking down new business information
The above is a general feel for the types of responsibilities/tasks we are looking to fill. We are always looking to promote/add responsibility so if the individual shows a desire to grow within the office where there are a few potential paths they can take.
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
With at least 2 to 5 years of Customer Service experience for an Insurance Account (Property, Casualty, Home, Auto insurance)
Willing to work on the night shift from Monday to Friday 9 am-5 pm EST (with 1hr lunch)/ may be open to a shifting schedule in the future
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Confident doing Inbound and Outbound calls
Well organized, keen on details, and able to multitask
