Job Summary :
The Customer Development Financial Control Manager will be supporting the Customer Development Team in various finance requirements including NVO management, review and approval of distributor service fees and incentives and distributor audit.
He/she will also be responsible for monitoring the individual objectives of the team, including the team's reward and recognition program.
The role provides a lot of opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement.
I. NVO Management
● Prepares the NVO budget for mid-year and September LE
● Leads all aspects of the team's expenses/charges review against the budget
● Reviews and approves POs & supplier billings - including Merchandising ● Reviews Customer Development Team Leaders' weekly expense reports and governs the overall expense report submission of the CD Team
II. Distributor Process Review & Distributor/Customer Compliance Audit
● Audits distributor processes & procedures, evaluates controls and prepares audit report with valuable recommendations in close collaboration with Finance Audit
● Elevates the audit findings to Legal and Finance for resolution
● Implements process improvements as necessary and/or as a result of audit findings
● Examines compliance of distributors on contractual requirements, including trade implementations to their customers
III. Distributor Service Fees & Incentives
● Reviews, analyzes and approves distributor service fees and Distributor Personnel Sales Incentive ● Works with IDT Retail Environment Team for the continuous improvement in the design of the service fee and incentive structure
● Collaborates with Legal in the review and update of distributor contracts
● Coordinates requirements for engagement/disengagement of distributors
IV. CD Conventions
● Serves as overall lead of the Annual Sales Convention
V. Customer Development Team Individual Objectives Tracking & Sales Incentive Review
● Monthly tracks & reports the Individual Objectives (IOs) of the CD Team
● Reviews and consolidates the sales achievements/results
● Reviews the team's incentives on a monthly and quarterly basis
VI. CD Representation in Company - Wide Projects
● Business Readiness
● Sustainability
● Funding the Growth (FTG)
VII. Others
● Liaises with other departments - Finance/Legal/HR for various issues related to distributors, customers and employees.
● Reviews and communicates the goals to distributors/field employees as developed by Retail Marketing.
● Takes accountability for the update of CD Directory/Call Tree/Customer Directory being handled by CD Executive Assistant
● Acts as administrator of CD access rights - SAP /SAP DMS
● Is responsible for the Maharlika Club; a Customer Development rewards and recognition program for CD employees and distributors
VIII. People Management
● Directly supervises the CD Admin. Specialist
● Manages the Customer Development Director's Executive Assistant performing administrative tasks
Required Education and Experience :
● Bachelor's Degree in Finance /Accounting or similar course
● Minimum 5-year experience in Finance, preferably in a public auditing firm or FMCG company (with audit background)
● Good oral & written communication skills
● Good administration, organization & interpersonal skills
● Confident, self-starter
● Willing to travel around the country
