Job Description
Drive Cross Border performance and business growth across multiple categories for the SEA region
Work with various stakeholders - internal to the organization and external partners - to develop and implement cross border solutions to suit the business needs
Source for local 3PL freight forwarders if required
Bridge communication between commercial team/brands and freight forwarding partners
Become subject matter expert of cross border regulations, documentation, and operation standards
Monitor ageing cross-border performance and provide reports
Develop insights on improving Cross Border performance through analytics and strong grasp of local markets
Perform analysis to improve cost efficiency for our clients
Performs any other ad-hoc assignments as assigned by Supervisor.
Qualifications
Has at least 5 years of work experience in supply chain/logistics, with
At least three years in cross border logistics/international trade/freight-forwarding/3PL management in freight-forwarding/customs clearance in one or more places in the region (Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines)
Bilingual in English and Mandarin (both verbal and written) for effective communication with clients/stakeholders in China and SEA
Possess strong analytical skill, sensitivity to data, and proficient with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint
Is a team player, driven, energetic, able to prioritise, multi-task and to deal with ambiguous situations
Learns fast and can manage projects end-to-end
Strong stakeholder management
Flexible to work long hours on occasion
