Be part of our expanding Finance and Accounting team that maintains the financial and accounting system for the operations team of the popular, internationally-known Filipino brand in mixes, sauces, and more-- MAMA SITA's
The Cost Accounting Assistant is responsible for batch costing of all production run.
Your scope of responsibility shall include:
Assist the Cost Accountant in costing materials and products for internal and external reporting
Assist the Cost Accountant in establishing standard labor and overhead costs per work area in the production
Regularly update list of prices of raw and packaging materials
Assist in costing damages related to Incident Deviation Report submitted to Accounting
Maintains cash receipts book for 4 companies
Assist in the monthly physical inventory counting
Minimum Qualifications/ Experience:
Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy
With at least 1 year of experience in Cost Accounting in a manufacturing environment is an advantage
Analytical skills and sound understanding of a accounting principles
Computer literate - strong Excel skills
Can work well with engineering and manufacturing personnel on development and analysis of cost standards
Ability to accurately prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports
