JOB PURPOSE
The Team Lead Corporate Compliance Officer is a subject-matter expert with at least 3 years of relevant work experience who could provide guidance and support to his/her colleagues in the field of special licenses and applicable regulations such as but not limited to facilitating applications for fiscal and non-fiscal incentives, product registrations, import license, business permits, tax treaty relief applications, etc. for a portfolio of local and international clients with legal footprints in the Philippines.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assists the Department in providing relevant services determined under the jurisdiction of special licenses and regulatory services team.
Assists in the onboarding of new client engagements such as but not limited to:
Responsible in managing communication with clients;
Oversees the preparation of project and onboarding tracker for client engagements;
Reviews and monitors projects assigned to junior and senior officers;
Ensures gaps in the onboarding and ongoing projects are addressed properly;
Assists in the collaboration projects which would involve multiple work streams from various teams or departments such as but not limited to:
Oversees and reviews project and/or onboarding trackers prepared by the junior and senior officers before sending out to client;
Communicates with client on the execution of the collaboration projects;
Reviews together with the senior officers the draft documents and execution of client projects;
Monitors progress and ensures timely execution of the projects/multiple work streams
Acts as Key Account Officer for collaboration projects
Oversees implementation/progress of training calendars for the team.
Provides guidance to junior and senior officers on the services and engagements with clients.
Handles client services and engagement as assigned by the head of the department and/or supervisor.
Assists the Department in providing company secretarial services to a range of non-listed client companies;
Handles full set of company secretarial documents;
Communicates with clients independently;
Maintains statutory records for clients' companies;
Others
Drafts and issues invoices, follows up debts;
Arranges funds transfer for clients' companies and liaise with bankers ensuring payments are effected on a timely basis;
Updates and maintains records/information in ViewPoint, Enate, and other platforms available;
Perform other duties as assigned.
JOB SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor of Science Degree holder or equivalent;
Minimum 3 years relevant experience gained in professional firm/ CPA firm/law firm;
Experience in dealings with the Philippine Economic Zone Authority, Board of Investment, Fiscal Incentives Regulatory Board is an advantage;
Good knowledge of corporate secretarial law and familiar with Companies Ordinance, rules and regulations of regulatory bodies;
Good computer skills with experience/knowledge in Viewpoint system as an advantage;
Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy;
Good command of both spoken and written English and Filipino;
Independent and able to work under pressure.
