Today, First Circle has two products: Capital is a variety of flexible credit products to cater to the SMB's funding needs, and Connect is a supplier payment and process automation tool.
We shall soon complete the acquisition of a bank license/charter in the Philippines which permits us to build a digital bank for our merchants - deposit & savings accounts, send & receive payments domestic & international, embedded credit - which we seek to deliver in Q2 2022. Secondly, we're building B2B e-commerce tools to bring our SMB customer base online.

About the role
First Circle is looking for a Content Writer with SEO writing expertise to build our blog and other content marketing initiatives.
You will be joining our Marketing team to showcase our SME products and services, cutting through the noise of other financing options with SEO-optimized educational content, business-to-government resources, how-to guides, and other innovative content strategies. You will also write thought leadership articles for our partners and newsletters, social media content, email marketing campaigns, and SME financial literacy content.
Our ideal candidate is a self-starter who is comfortable setting their own goals in a fast-paced working environment. You will have an exciting opportunity to develop insights on events affecting local SMEs and share them with multiple audiences such as entrepreneurs, government agencies, and business partners. Depending on your experience and interests, you will also experiment with the language-market fit, make your own contributions to our current content strategy, and unlock more content marketing value from unexplored social media channels.
Responsibilities
Write well-researched blog articles and thought leadership columns to share useful market opportunities and insights to our SME audience
Write SEO-optimized scripts and metadata for videos to educate SMEs on First Circle products
Conduct SEO keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic and engagement
Maintain an SEO master list of keywords for easier incorporation into content
Assist in proofreading, editing, or updating content before publication
Publish content on the web, social media, and other platforms
Collaborate with designers and other stakeholders to produce high-quality content for their articles
Produce high-converting email marketing content in terms of copy and design
Assist in newsletter curation through research and/or finding relevant external content
Assist in updating the status of the current content calendar as needed
Assist in tracking the engagement performance of First Circle's social media and website content
Post and engage in SME-related online communities and First Circle partners as needed
Manage and complete multiple writing deadlines on time with minimal supervision
Identify customers' needs and gaps in the content calendar and recommend new topics and approaches as needed
Write other content marketing copy as needed
Requirements
At least 3+ years of experience as a content writer, copywriter, content marketer, or similar role
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a diligent eye for detail, language, flow, and grammar
Portfolio of published articles
Excellent online researching skills
SEO content writing skills
Experience in long-form content writing
Social media copywriting skills, especially for short videos
Email marketing skills or experience
Basic knowledge of WordPress or other Content Management Software
Familiarity with website performance metrics and/or Google Analytics
Working knowledge or understanding of local business, finance, and/or government news and trends that can be mined for SME content
Good understanding or willingness to keep up-to-date on local news and trends in business, finance, financial literacy, and/or government operations and concepts
Willing to report on-site once a week at our office in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig beginning June 3
Preferred but not required
Experience with B2B or financial literacy content creation
Content marketing skills
Familiarity with Hubspot as a marketing tool
