The Compliance Specialist shall oversee compliance of the company with legislative and other regulatory requirements such as notifying the regulators of material changes in information previously filed, maintaining registers, books of accounts and other records, compliance with rules, orders and laws relating to investment activities, compliance with margin rules, net capital and other financial requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Have a general knowledge of the operations of a stock broker, mutual fund distributor, and other investment-related companies
Responsible for the internal control supervision of other employees, agents, salesmen, officers, directors, clerks and stockholders of the investment arms of Investagrams, Inc. (Stock Broker, Mutual Fund Distributor, and future investment-related companies) in compliance with the rules and regulations of the SEC, BSP, AMLA, and the PSE.
Implement and manage an effective legal compliance program
Supervise and provide training to covered persons of Investagrams' Investment Arms for compliance with the SRC Code and other Relevant Regulatory Rules.
Develop procedures and monitor on a daily basis compliance with financial resource requirements
Create and manage effective action plans in response to audit discoveries and compliance violations
Effectively comply with all the reportorial requirements of the regulators such as the PSE, SEC, BSP and AMLC.
Bachelor's degree preferably in the field of Finance
At least 2 years working experience as a compliance specialist
Extensive knowledge on regulatory requirements and procedures
Must have strong analytical and investigative skills
With excellent focus on transactional details
Having an Associated Person's (AP) License is an advantage
