Crowdsources daily trends (photo/video materials) on social media platforms to earn engagements and help in promoting INQUIRER.net & Be An INQUIRER community to more online readers/users; interviews sources of crowdsourced content
Writes relevant and feel-good features/stories (news, entertainment, lifestyle, technology, opinion, Korean and pop culture) which helps in generating social media engagements and page likes
Coordinates with the News Desk and Editors regarding top-performing stories from INQUIRER.net and competitors
Coordinates with the Editorial team for crowdsourced features that can be made into video content for INQFocus
Creates and edits video content and basic graphic designs on Canva, Lumen5, Clipchamp Create, Hippo Video, etc.
Manages and monitors official Be An INQUIRER social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) for crowdsourcing of daily trends and community engagement
Cooperates with the team in promoting INQUIRER.net stories to its audience by studying social media behavior and recommending social media title/description for a better click-through rate
Assists the team as well as other BUs in requesting social media account verification through Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter Media Support Portal
Performs other related tasks as may be assigned.
College Graduate, preferably in Communication Research, Behavioral Science, Digital Marketing
At least 1year work experience in social media
Experience in working with social media tools (CrowdTangle, Radian6, Social Mention)
With strong attention to detail and a keen sense of emerging social media trends and behaviors.
With good communication skills
