The Notifiables & Information Request Compliance (NIRC) team is responsible for reporting notifiable occurrences to regulators across Rides & Work Health & Safety jurisdictions in ANZ.
The team is essential in ensuring 100% compliance with government regulations on reporting notifiable occurrences with zero tolerance for errors and missed notifiables.
What You Will Do
Gain expertise of all notifiable incidents and the different policies and regulations varying across different ANZ jurisdictions under the scope of Uber
Understand the general process of reporting notifiable occurrences and why it is very critical to the business
Distinguish different processes involved in reporting notifiable occurrences
Review critical incidents meticulously and with utmost care to identify and report notifiable occurrences accurately and without misses
Understand the critical nature of the incidents that you are handling, have the ability to exercise risk mitigation to deescalate fraught conversations in real-time
Call out critical incidents to provide feedback and mitigate serious risks in the business
Communicate with partners to report identified notifiable occurrences, provide feedback and insights, and proactively provide insights to the ANZ business to help keep a tight loop in preventing future critical incidents
Look for opportunities to improve the way our critical support teams handle incidents, seeking to deliver best practice operations that achieve customer experience, risk mitigation, quality, consistency, and efficiency
What You'll Need
At least 1 year experience in a fast-paced work environment
Eye for detail. Highly attentive to detail, carefully understanding and checking everything, knowing that even a small error could lead to potential risk
Investigative and truth-seeking approach.** **Adopting a curious and analytical approach to find facts and gain a full understanding of the incident or situation
Can work independently with minimal direction. Efficient and highly organized, can work independently handling tasks efficiently without compromise to quality
Strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to confidently and effectively articulate thoughts and recommendations; can confidently voice concerns with partners and/or other team members; listens attentively and effectively, and can present effective written communication to varied audiences
Flexibility to different work schedules. Open to working different schedules

Experience and familiarity in safety and IRT incidents and accidents
Familiarity in Safety JIRA documentation standards
