BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
Candidates will be focused on providing great service to financial technology solutions and service company, specifically in the information technology aspect.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides technical support by resolving inquiries by phone, email and web, in a timely and consistent manner with department and team service levels and goals.
Works collaboratively with clients, team members, implementation consultants, and resources across our global office locations to achieve desired results.
Continue internal education, training, and certifications to stay ahead of an evolving technical industry landscape
Learn new product releases, and increase your value to the company and the client.
Own and address client needs and product issues from inception to resolution.
Interpret and validate technical issues, test solutions, follow-up and escalate when necessary.
Maintain and create detailed documentation through logging of support cases, e-mail and knowledge base articles for client and internal use.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
For the technical or architecture aspect, one year or more experience is required:
SQL, Databases
UNIX/Linux
Networking
MSSQL
Databases
Preferably familiar with the use of Excel formula or macro
Has previously worked in JP Morgan, Bank of America, Thomson Reuters, Bloomberg is plus and is preferred
Background and knowledge in accounting is a plus
Highly proficient in English, both written and spoken
Proven aptitude to learn complex technical, financial and theoretical information in a timely manner.
Persevere, dedicated and committed to his/her job.
