Job Description:
The Corporate banking /Wholesale banking team is responsible for helping clients and organizations processes trade finance transactions by providing superior service delivery to trade customers whilst safeguarding the bank from risks associated with this business.
The Trade Finance Processing team focuses on developing & delivering business solutions related to the trade finance products offered by banks, including transactions such as import & export bills, foreign bill collection, banker's acceptances/reimbursements, letters of credit and open account trading. The team also provides transactional-based expertise to the business to ensure accurate and timely conduct in accordance with ICC guidelines, bank procedures & trade finance policy manual. The role requires a good understanding of risk management, transaction processing, retail banking, wholesale banking, trade settlements and trade processing
Roles and Responsibilities
In this role you are required to -
Ø Review, process and release Trade Finance Payment transactions for Collections, Commercial LC's, Open Accounts and Supply Chain Financing
Ø Coordinate with other Trade Finance teams for transactions that require additional information
Ø Able to communicate and interact effectively with people at all levels
Key Skills
Ø Experience in Trade Finance products will be added advantage
Ø Strong desire to learn all aspects of trade and supply chain finance products
Ø Experience in Trade Finance products will be added advantage
Ø Knowledge in Payments Processes for Trade Finance Products
Ø Experience in SWIFT messages will be an advantage
Ø Strong desire to learn all aspects of trade and supply chain finance products
Ø Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to communicate and interact effectively with people at all levels
Ø Self-directed, highly motivated
Ø Ability to balance multiple tasks and responsibilities
Ø Strong work ethic and "can do" attitude
Ø Ability to work independently and in a team environment, meeting tight deadlines
Ø Must have the ability to work efficiently across the organization, cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders
Ø Technological orientation with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
