CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER (CFO) - NATIONWIDE OPERATIONS

Overview:
 
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) / Chief Accountant to lead our financial operations on a nationwide scale. Based in Manila, the CFO will be responsible for overseeing the financial management of all our businesses across the country, including monitoring payables, receivables, financial statements preparation, and establishing financial processes and teams in various areas and businesses. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive financial expertise, and a proven ability to drive operational efficiency and excellence across multiple locations.
 
Responsibilities:
Financial Management:
Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's overall objectives and drive financial performance.
Oversee all financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger management.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies.
Financial Reporting:
Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analyses to senior management and stakeholders.
Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data to support strategic decision-making.
Team Leadership and Development:
Build and lead a high-performing finance team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
Establish financial goals and performance metrics for team members and provide ongoing feedback and development opportunities.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the finance department.
Process Optimization:
Evaluate existing financial processes and systems and identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
Implement best practices and standardized procedures to streamline financial operations and enhance efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Business Unit Support:
Collaborate with business unit leaders to understand their financial needs and requirements.
Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making and resource allocation.
Establish financial controls and performance metrics for each business unit to monitor performance and drive accountability.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation highly preferred.
Proven experience in a senior financial management role, preferably as a CFO or Controller, with experience managing finances across multiple locations or business units.
Strong knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
