BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE SPECIALIST
As a Business Intelligence Specialist, you will embrace the role of a business consultant to drive business growth through data driven insights and recommendations. You will be responsible for performing business analysis and reporting, taking full ownership of maintaining and improving existing Power BI dashboards, and providing partial support in database management and ad-hoc BI initiatives.
WHAT WILL YOU DO:
Business Analysis and Reporting
Utilize analytical tools and statistical methods to generate data driven analysis on business performance via recurring and ad-hoc reports
Communicate findings, identified opportunities and recommendations to the Management team and other functions through written or formal presentations, and offline discussions
Embrace new analytical approaches and ways to improve business reporting
Business Dashboards Maintenance and Enhancement
Enable all key members within the organization with access to business performance measures via access to Power BI dashboards and drive the end to end process of dashboard updates and maintenance
Seek constant improvements in data visualization and KPI reflection to better suit business needs
Regular Data Management
Perform and exeucte regular transaction processes and data extraction through SQL (TME Data Warehouse) to access data for analysis, maintain operation records, dashboards and database
New Developments and Initiatives
Provide support wherever needed in ongoing and upcoming projects led and driven by the BI team
YOU ARE:
A Bachelor's Degree holder in Computer Science, Statistics, Business Studies or other relevant fields
An experienced Business Intelligence Specialist with 3 years of experience in business / data analyst and reporting role
Skilled in understanding and dissecting data in order to tell a compelling story
Someone who possesses strong analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills
An excellent communicator and a team player with a collaborative mindset
Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office (Excel and Powerpoint) and Power BI, with basic understanding in SQL and data visualization
Capable of working in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment
Familiar with data modelling or geoanalytical tools
