JOB DESCRIPTION FOR A BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE
Your Responsibilities as a Business Development Representative would be:
Develop sales strategies to draw in potential customers.
Seek new business opportunities, sales outreach and navigation.
Keep updated about latest business trends.
Assist the sales team with the generation of prospects.
Qualify leads through more experienced outgoing caller and closing leads through an experienced, top level sales expert.
Generate leads using lead generation tolls (eg Apollo, YellowPages, etc)
Conduct outbound calls to prospective clients and engage in persuasive conversations.
Initiating contact with potential customers through cold-calling or responding to inquiries generated from advertisements.
Arranging in-person meetings, emails, or phone calls.
Arranging email correspondence
Generate and follow up on proposals/offers to prospects.
Performing regular follow-up calls or emails and facilitating communication with existing customers.
Coordinate and collaborate with sales and marketing teams to successfully deliver technical solutions to clients.
Actively contribute to knowledge sharing on client needs and context.
Ensure client satisfaction.
Qualifications as a Business Development Representative:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or similar discipline is strongly preferred.
Minimum of 3 years work experience and track record in sales, lead generation, customer service, cold-calling, appointment setting, or similar industry is strongly preferred.
Experience in organic lead generation, B2B & B2C Sales.
Preferably with strong sales background, lead generation ( especially Organic) and has proven track record in closing sales on B2B.
Excellent communication and written skills.
Excellent computer skills, including MS Office, marketing software and applications (Web analytics, Google Adwords, etc.)
In-depth knowledge of sales performance metrics.
Strong interpersonal, networking and negotiation skills.
Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines with business insight.
Adept at different social media platforms and has good research skills.
Proven ability to present and communicate with varied customers and clients.
Excellent listening and customer service skills, and phone demeanor.
Proactive, coachable, and well-organized.
