The Opportunity
You'll be working with the Philippines Country Manager to lead the business development charge in the Philippines.
Your mission?
Forge powerful partnerships and propel them from ideas to execution, providing fair financial solutions for MSMEs in the Philippines.
You will help shape company's BD strategy in the Philippines, determining which partners to go after and which products to launch to best serve MSMEs in their networks.
You will generate a pipeline of leads and identify potential partners, conduct outreach and initial meetings, prepare partnership proposals, design pilot programs, negotiate commercials and set the operational wheels in motion to go live and scale.
You will collaborate closely with the leaders across business, credit, product and legal to develop an airtight launch plan.
What will success after 3 months look like?
Launching 3 partnerships for the company to provide financing to MSMEs (e.g. invoice factoring, receivables financing, supply chain financing, working capital financing), with the potential for each to grow to serve 5,000+ MSMEs with sustainable economics providing fair financing to borrowers and healthy returns to lenders.
To be successful in this role, you probably are:
a results-oriented leader excited to move fast and launch deals
you probably have strong networking skills and the ability to get in the room with just about any Philippines business leader you can think of
a sharp analytical mind and strong business intuition.
Minimum 5+ years' of experience in B2B partnerships
Preference for candidates from Management consulting background and/or Fintech
Must be a fast tracker/High performer, with an ability to work with a hands on approach
