in the logistics industry. Our respected client is seeking an executive with at least (5) years' experience in Sales and business expansion, and client acquisition from Transportation, Warehousing, Trucking, Freight Forwarding and Contract Logistics for the position of Business Development Assistant Manager. The job is based in Pasay City, Philippines
Job Summary:
The Business Development Assistant Manager will be responsible for the overall business development and management.
Key job responsibilities include:
Responsible for overall business development program, evaluating and quantifying the sales opportunities.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective clients.
Strategically plans, manages, and reports logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer services operations.
To spearhead logistics sales in overall operations, especially in warehousing and trucking.
Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements thru proficient reports.
Carry out business targets, organize and formulate development plans and key performance indicators.
In liaison with the operations team for the implementation and management of the new and ongoing business.
Able to resolve any operational issues, as well as manage both internal and external customers systematically.
Ensures that the company complies with and is up to date on laws and regulations pertaining to logistics operations.
Provide reports as needed to both internal and external customers
To perform another related work requirement that may be assigned
Candidate must be a University/College graduate of any 4-year course: Business, Logistics, or any related.
With at least 5-7 years of proven related experience in a logistics sales environment.
With a record of successful distribution and logistics management.
With outstanding communication skills both written and verbal.
Proficient in standard logistics software and system.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.
Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to negotiate rates, sell services, and build professional relationships.
Willing to work in Taguig.
