The Business Development Manager/Head plays a pivotal role in driving company growth by identifying, pursuing, and securing new property listings and client partnerships. This is a high-impact sales role that involves active prospecting, deal negotiation, and closing agreements with landowners and clients. Conduct in-depth market research and field visits to identify and secure new properties for the company to market and sell.
Prospect and engage with landowners/ tenants nationwide through networking, cold calling, advertising, and active site scouting.
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform and refine business and sales strategies.
Actively pursue new business leads and close deals, demonstrating strong negotiation skills and a sales-driven mindset.
Present and promote the company's services to potential property owners, and occupiers highlighting value propositions and competitive advantages.
Lead the full sales cycle-from initial contact and presentation to negotiation and closing-ensuring successful deal execution.
Build and nurture strong, trust-based relationships with clients and property owners to support repeat business and referrals.
Collaborate closely with the Brokerage team to implement targeted growth strategies and meet business development goals.\
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to generate leads and build brand visibility.
Establish and maintain a strong network of industry partners and stakeholders to support business expansion efforts.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Real Estate, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or leasing within or not in the commercial real estate industry.
Excellent negotiation and deal-closing skills, with the ability to structure complex real estate transactions.
Strong networking and relationship-building skills with property owners, developers, and corporate clients.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and target-driven environment.
Willingness to travel for client meetings and property visits.
