We currently have an immediate need for a Bid Manager in Taguig, Philippines
PURPOSE
The Bid Manager will provide the management and coordination of Bids for the APAC sector, allowing for better internal communication and management of tasks and deadlines. This position provides a single point of contact between the sales, sales engineer, software, marketing, service, PLM, supply chain for Bids. The Bid Manager main task is to 1) define RFP requirements in scope/technology/risk 2) define/discuss value-based bid strategy on product/technology/pricing/costing 3) based on above two tasks work out accurate BOM and optimize costing of all items 4) discuss and finalize pricing/strategy with VP APAC.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Review and recommendation of all RFI, RFQ & ITT opportunities through the agreed qualification process to obtain VP approval.
Single point of contact to analyze/ collect all need info for the bid, review, internal approval to submit bid within deadline.
Ensure that a proper bid strategy is determined by the Account Owner and that management processes for bid/no bid and bid approval are adhered to.
Coordinate different functions to provide accurate info in time, drive the result to meet the target when supplied information is not meeting the demands.
Implement standardized quality systems, which allow all, Bid management activities to be controlled and monitored from conception to production.
Creation of Bid Plans specific to each Approved Bid detailing action owners, accountable for accuracy, quality, and the deadline of bids
Provide pricing analysis for smaller project requests and get approval from VP APAC.
Create, provide standard quotation, CMA analysis easy to use by internal colleagues, easy to be understood by customers.
Provide weekly reports on the status of active Bids and marketing issues under review, production, and award.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
At least 5 years' work experience in telecom industry (operator/vendor)
Solid knowledge on network technical requirements from end-to-end solutions
Knowledgeable on the decision-making process in organization flow/structures of the telco.
Excellent command of English language - written and English.
Advanced skill in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook
