We're hiring a Business Development Manager to open new brand partnerships and grow revenue across CPG, beauty, food & beverage, retail, and e-commerce. You'll run a consultative, impact-led sales motion-translating sustainability goals into clear roadmaps and commercial programs with measurable results.
 
Must Have Qualifications:
2-5 years in business development or partnerships for B2B solutions, sustainability/ESG services, climate tech, or related consulting
Strong consultative selling skills and executive presence with Sustainability, Packaging, Supply Chain, and Procurement leaders
Ability to translate technical topics-plastic footprinting, reduction roadmaps, recovery financing, impact measurement-into business value
Proven pipeline generation and deal progression in mid-market and enterprise accounts
Excellent writing, storytelling, and quantitative reasoning for proposals and ROI models
Discipline with CRM and a data-driven approach to testing and iterating outreach
Nice to have Qualifications:
Familiarity with EPR, Scope 3, LCA/footprinting, green claims guidance, and packaging/supply chain landscapes
Proficiency in Salesforce or HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo/Outreach, Google Workspace, Notion/Asana, and standard virtual meeting platforms.
What you'll do:
Build and manage a targeted pipeline of brand prospects in priority verticals and regions
Lead discovery to map sustainability, packaging, procurement, and ESG stakeholders and uncover goals, baselines, and constraints
Craft business cases that connect plastic footprinting, reduction pathways, recovery financing, and impact reporting to customer KPIs
Drive the deal cycle end-to-end: outreach, discovery, solution design with our sustainability/impact teams, proposal, negotiation, and close
Navigate compliance and claims integrity; align programs to relevant ESG, EPR, and "green claims" guidance
Collaborate with Marketing on campaigns, events, and content; provide field feedback to sharpen ICP and messaging
Maintain accurate CRM hygiene and weekly forecasting; track activity, conversion, sourced SQOs, and new logos
Represent our company at conferences and webinars; book meetings and follow-ups before, during, and after events
Partner with Customer Success for smooth hand-offs, renewals, and multi-year expansions
