Business Development Representative (Work from Home)
 
Must Have Qualifications:
1-3 years of experience in sales, business development, or a customer-facing role (preferably in SaaS, industrial technology, or related fields).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written).
Proactive, resilient, and results-driven with a hunter mentality.
Ability to learn and clearly articulate technical concepts in simple business terms.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Active on Linkedin- with regular posts
Fluency in English required; additional languages are a plus.
Good To Have Requirements:
Comfortable using CRM tools (HubSpot and sales engagement platforms (Genesy AI)
Experience working with or selling into the process manufacturing industry (e.g., chemicals, oil & gas, food & beverage, pharmaceuticals, pulp & paper, etc.).
Responsibilities:
Identify and research potential customers within target industries and accounts.
Generate and qualify leads through outbound prospecting (calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach) and inbound inquiries.
Engage with prospects to understand their challenges, pain points, and readiness for digital transformation.
Effectively communicate our value proposition and how it aligns with customer needs.
Book discovery meetings and demos for Account Executives and Sales Managers.
Hit monthly and quarterly targets for qualified leads progressing through the sales funnel.
Maintain accurate records of prospect interactions and pipeline activity in the CRM system.
Collaborate with the sales, marketing, and customer success teams to refine messaging and improve conversion.
Stay up to date on industry trends, competitors, and AI/Industry 4.0 developments.
