RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for timely and accurate processing of bank statement according to standard process documentation (i.e Bank Statement posting, Transitory Bank Account Clearing and Bank Account maintenance)
Performs ans assists the team on month-end closing activities
First level of Escalation for Process Issues and Process Deviations and analyse possible solutions based on standard procedures.
Participates actively in the discussions on operational related topics during stakeholders call/meeting
Performs ICS controls (TBA OI and Bank Recon) and provides assistance on all audit and ICS requests and concerns
Contributes to process improvements and documentation
Complies with accounting standards, policies and procedures
Provides training on Bank Accounting activities
Helps in building up the process expertise of the team
Monitors and influence KPI
Assists CoE/SE in the review and update of the process documentation
QUALIFICATIONS
Graduate of Accountancy course or any similar course
3+ years Professional Experience in Accounting Functions with sound SAP understanding
Experience in Bank Accounting is an advantage
Fluent English communication, both spoken and written
Knowledge of the relevant IT systems (e.g., SAP) and Microsoft Office applications
Collaborative and has the capability to lead and implement process changes and initiatives
Preferred Qualifications: • Knowledge in Payments and Bank Accounting Process -Sound understanding of other processes (i.e O2C, S2P) -Knowledge in In House Cash Process
