Back-End Developer - SQL & Database Focus (Work From Home)
 
We are seeking a mid-level Back-End Developer with strong expertise in SQL development and database management. This role is ideal for a developer who specializes in back-end systems and data-driven applications, rather than full-stack development.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database structures
Design and improve relational database schemas with a focus on performance and scalability
Collaborate with engineering and product teams to support and enhance back-end functionality
Troubleshoot and resolve database and back-end performance issues
Ensure data integrity, security, and best practices across environments
Must Have Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in back-end development or SQL-focused roles
Strong proficiency in SQL and relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle)
Solid understanding of database design, normalization, indexing, and query optimization
Experience working with production systems
Nice to Have Qualifications:
Experience with server-side languages or frameworks
Familiarity with APIs and integrations
Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git)
