ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Basic understanding and experience planning to perform an audit
Knowledge of internal accounting controls and professional standards and regulations (GAAP and GAAS)
Apply accounting principles and auditing procedures to client engagements, and prepare work papers
Audit transaction cycles, including cash, purchasing, investments, capital expenditures, and other income and expenses
Gain understanding of client operations, processes, and business objectives and utilize that knowledge on engagements
Research and analyze financial statements and audit issues, and employ audit software to review and compile financial information to resolve client issues discovered during the audit
Working closely with staff, managers, and partners on all phases of the project
Working experience in accounting firm
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years experience in an accounting firm
CPA license will be an advantage but not required
Proficient in MS Office applications
Excellent analytical, technical, and auditing skills including proficiency in US GAAP and GAAS rules and standards.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing priorities in a rapidly growing, fast-paced, interactive, results-based team environment.
Willing to observe US Pacific time working hours
