SUMMARY:
The Associate Supplier Onboarding Specialist's (SOS) primary function is to undertake supplier enablement tasks for the Ariba Network as directed for customer campaigns in accordance with the processes and procedures.
The ASOS is to action those supplier requests allocated to them. By following the onboarding process obtain a decision from those suppliers whether they agree or not to transact electronically with their customer. This applies to existing member suppliers and new suppliers.
Duties and Responsibilities * Plan and prioritise daily outreach (combination of outbound phone calls and emails) activities to meet individual KPI's, or to action their leads as directed by their manager.
Maintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods to optimise quality of service, business growth and customer satisfaction to meet the needs of the supplier enablement campaigns
Operate in accordance with the on-boarding processes and procedures
Operate and update the CRM system as per the on-boarding procedures
Monitor daily progress on number of calls made and successes achieved
Work as a coherent team member
Adhere to health and safety policy, and other requirements relating to care of equipment
Respond to and follow up simple customer enquiries
Maintain strict confidentiality with customers information
Other specific tasks as required or directed by the manager
Take full ownership of assigned activities
Skills and Experience Required:
Core Essential Skills:
Experience in customer service, sales, and/or call centre environment
Outbound call experience (must be very comfortable making outbound calls)
Ability to respond to supplier queries in a timely manner
Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
Professional and pleasant manner and speaking voice
Be results driven
Ability to learn new software (CRM)
Problem solving skills
Ability to work unsupervised, be proactive in their approach, manage and prioritise their work activities
Ask questions where necessary to solve problems as they arise
Have a pleasant cooperative manner, to take and follow instructions, and be able to work as a cohesive team member
Pays attention to the detail
Desirable Knowledge:
Experience in Supply Chain practices, primarily purchasing and e-procurement
Knowledge of purchasing systems
Knowledge on Ariba Network
Knowledge of Microsoft applications (Excel, Outlook)
Language skills
English
Other languages an advantage but not necessary
