The right candidate would act as a Application Support Analysts in our office at BGC Taguig to support our cutting-edge platform. The role demands a strong technical background and great interpersonal and communication skills. Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent. At least 1 to 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position. Required Skill(s): Strong communication and interpersonal skills, proficient English and experience working with multi-cultural customer Sense of urgency and a focus on customer satisfaction Willing to work odd hours including the weekends and late nights/early mornings to cover 24/7 shift Strong technical background with the following skills: Previous experience in software development in an object-oriented language Knowledge of shell scripting, SQL scripting, Python or Java/Javascript Windows or Unix experience Knowledge of ITIL processes or ITIL v3 certification is a plus Experience on any Service Desk tools (JIRA Service Desk, Remedy or the like) and knowledge management tools (Remedy, Confluence or the like) Knowledge of Amazon Web Services or other cloud solutions is a plus Preferably 2 Yrs Experienced Employee specialized in Software Development or equivalent. The ideal candidate is someone who can address customer concerns, investigate our code to find the root cause, liaise with internal DevOps team members and ultimately provide customers with a fix or workaround. Proactively monitor system health and respond to alerts to ensure high availability and performance Act as support to multiple platforms and respond to inquiries from customers globally to maintain high customer satisfaction Automate and improve processes to increase efficiency and resolve regular operations issues Manage Incidents, Problems and Changes and assist in Capacity Management of our systems Document resolutions, create self-help guides and identify feature improvements on our applications to improve customer experience. Participate in overnight roster as emergency point of contact and be willing to support different shifts to maintain stability and customer support.
