Position Summary
Support accounts payable with supplier invoice retrieval, workflow documents, and statement reconciliation. Audits employee expense reports for accuracy, proper receipt documentation, and policy compliance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Ensures accounts payable invoices are downloaded from supplier online portals.
Reviews and clears miscellaneous documents in invoice workflow system
Updates invoice status for payments in invoice workflow system as directed.
Reconciles supplier invoice statements, and requests missing invoices.
Administers accounts payable processes, policies, and procedures.
Ensures the accuracy of general ledger distribution codes.
Monitors AP emails to respond to invoice inquiries.
Audits expense reports for accuracy, proper receipt documentation and policy compliance.
Requests additional backup or explanation on expenses out of policy.
Professional and customer-service oriented with the ability to effectively interact with employees and managers.
Ability to proactively research and resolve accounts payable related issues.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or any other 4-year business related course
Minimum of 2-4 years of related experience in accounts payable.
Experience in Accounts Payable systems (Ex Oracle EBS or other ERP system, Concur, FileBound).
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Intermediate knowledge of multinational ERP is required. Exposure to Oracle preferred
Intermediate knowledge in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint
Experience in shared services industry is an advantage
Proficiency in English communication skills (writing and spoken)
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Willing to in BGC, Taguig
Open to working in different shifts
Functional Description
Checks and verifies cost accounting, account payable records, prepares invoices and vouchers, types, files, posts ledger and general journal entries, and/or balances accounts payable and accounts receivable records. Uses office automated systems to input data, generate reports, conduct specialized research projects and respond to inquiries. May reconcile difficult accounts. May maintain a complete and systematic set of transactions in a specific phase of accounting.
Experience and Education
Typically requires a minimum of 2-4 years of related experience and a High School diploma/certificate or equivalent.
