Schedule: Morning ShiftOverviewWe are seeking an Actuarial Specialist who will play a vital role in ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in actuarial reporting. The role involves both regulatory responsibilities and contributions to process enhancements, particularly in automation and data management. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly analytical, and capable of collaborating across different functions.Primary Responsibilities
Validate Hyperion expense allocations to maintain accuracy and reliability of reports.
Prepare and consolidate quarterly regulatory submissions with thorough data verification.
Contribute to actuarial reporting processes, including:
Estimating IBNR reserves.
Reviewing and validating VUL annual statements.
Reconciling seriatim files against annual statement balances.
Monitoring and supporting management actions from Insurance Commission audit findings.
Collaborate with the data analytics team to:
Build and maintain a production data warehouse.
Drive automation of recurring actuarial and financial reports.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years of actuarial experience.
Completion of at least 2 actuarial exams.
Skilled in actuarial modeling tools (any recognized platform).
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (advanced level).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
