Job Description
The Accounts Payable Specialist performs processing of payments for approved invoices; including preparing payment forecast, payment proposals, issue resolution, processing of manual / exception payments (including tax remissions e.g., Sales & Use, VAT),
Performs blackline reconciliations. Additionally this position is responsible for disbursement related accounts clearing and entries.
Preparation and analysis of Vendor On Time Payment KPI to forecast trend and results.
Prepares and reviews Potential Duplicate invoices and payments, ensures that debit balances are applied to existing open invoices or refunded from the vendors.
First point of contact for all accounts payable issues and acts as the officer in charge in the absence of his/her immediate Team Lead.
Other activities assigned by immediate such as projects, audit engagements, CBS and other workstream or center initiatives.

Job Requirements
Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or any related courses
Preferably a CPA but not required
Preferably with knowledgeable / trained in Six Sigma and Lean methodologies
'• 5 + years of experience in Accounting or Accounts Payable working with SAP journal entries and closing cycles
▪ Cross functional experience in other accounting/finance functions
Experience in process improvement activities
Experience in accounting and financial systems
Proficient in using SAP preferred
Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite
Work with Project teams on process improvements, development of KPI and other quality measures
Stakeholder engagement, basic people skills, conducts training/s on subject of expertise
Able to facilitate team meetings to share best practices, lead process improvement initiatives.
Experience in working with international teams
Understanding of different cultures
