The Accounts Payable & Disbursement Specialist is mainly responsible for the recording of invoices and expenses to GAAP & the company policies and procedures, including but now limited validation, review of documents, checking of computations, completeness of requirements, approvals, correctness, monitoring of due dates and proper handling of invoice exceptions, disputes/issues, as well as processing of payments.\
Other responsibilities include:
Maintaining the A/P book(s) &subsidiary ledger(s), preparing BIR 2307, performing reconciliations and generating periodic reports such as ageing.
Responding/Coordinating with supplier(s), banks, inter-department regarding queries, confirmations, disputes/exceptions/discrepancies, and resolutions.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be a graduate of BS Accountancy
Preferably with experience on Accounts Payable
New graduates (with good foundation of Basic Bookkeeping & Principles of Accounts Payable) can also apply
Proficient in MS Office applications, especially in MS Excel
Working knowledge of GAAP, Financial Standards, and BIR Rulings
With initiative, can work on minimal supervision; is a team player
Ability to multi-task and adapt/work in a bisy environment.
