On October 2, 2015, Cathay United Bank Co., Ltd Manila Branch opened in the business district of Makati City, Metro Manila. Cathay United Bank Co., Ltd. Manila Branch was the first Taiwanese bank and the third foreign bank to join the Philippine banking industry following the promulgation of Republic Act (RA) 10641 in 2014, which allows foreign banks to establish a branch in the country. On October 2, 2015, Cathay United Bank Co., Ltd Manila Branch started business in the business district of Makati City, Metro Manila. Cathay United Bank Co., Ltd. Manila Branch provides one-stop banking products and services such as Deposits and Withdrawals, Remittance, Corporate Loans and etc.
Qualifications & experience
1. Candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy. CPA is preferred.
2. Preferably with at least 1-3 years banking experience.
3. Required Skill(s): Ability to act independently, Good Communication, Time Management, Logical Thinking and Problem-solving skills.
4. With advance skills in MS Excel
Tasks & responsibilities
1. Prepares mandatory reports for Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) and Philippine Deposit Insurance corporation (PDIC).
2. Responsible in maintaining the books of accounts and other accounting reports in conformity with sound accounting principles.
3. Assist in report preparation, document filing and Accounting Unit tasks.
