Do you have what it takes to qualify? Just see if you fit the following requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
At least five (5) years of direct experience
Proven comfort level with learning and working with various computer applications, and accounting software (QuickBooks)
Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills
Payroll processing or experience is a plus
Demonstrated ability to work with limited supervision and for routine work
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Good verbal and written communication skills
Maturity, professionalism, and very high level of confidentiality and discretion
Strong work ethic and ability to multi-task
Here are some of your day-to-day activities:
Acts as Liaison of Finance-related deliverables to BIR, PEZA, LGU and SEC
Ensure accurate application of related taxes on all financial transactions, in compliance with the relevant tax/regulatory policies. This mainly includes the following taxes: withholding tax and value-added tax.
Manage timely submission/filing/payment of required periodic returns on various taxes based on the prescribed deadlines by the Bureau of Internal Revenue
Answer queries from operations, suppliers, and government agencies
Regularly checks the tax compliance of the Company
Assist Finance Controller in performing monthly reconciliation of BS accounts.
Act as back-up for payroll processing and related activities
Assists the Finance Controller in the preparation of analyses of forecast and budget reporting.
Responsible for protecting information assets of the company, company assets from unauthorized disclosure, breach or loss.
Protects financial information by keeping company/employee personal and sensitive information confidential.
Handles the purchasing of any and all required supplies.
Any assignment/project given by the Finance Controller or the Managing Director.
