The Accounting Officer - Tax and Compliance provides vital support to the Accounting Department and helps the Manager/Head on compliance for all governmental compliance requirements. Together with the Manager/Head, he/she is the main anchor point for all compliance and tax related matters for the company and its affiliates. He/She is responsible in the timely compliance and submission of accurate reports to the BIR, SEC, LGUs, BOC, BOI, etc.
Main Responsibilities:
Timely and accurately file the Monthly/Quarterly/Annual Tax Returns to the BIR and other required documents
Timely pay to the LGUs the annual and/or quarterly business tax assessments and RPT
Timely and accurately submit other reports required by the SEC, BOI, BOC, etc.
Timely prepare the detailed and accurate analyses and researches to assist the Accounting Department in addressing BIR audits
Perform other related tasks that may be assigned from time to time
Qualifications:
Candidate must possess at least Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam) in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent
Required Skills: Philippine Taxation especially on income tax, VAT, withholding taxes and DST and technical rules on addressing tax related audits, knowledge and understanding on regulatory agency requirements such as BIR, SEC, BOI, BOC, etc.
Preferably an Officer or Supervisor/5 Yrs & Up Experienced Employee specialized in Finance - Audit/Taxation or equivalent
Knowledge/Experience in handling accounts such as large tax payer manufacturing/business is a plus
Able to permanently work at the Head Office in BGC, Taguig City
