To provide financial information translated from the daily business transactions relevant to management's decision-making and make a significant contribution to the organization and the company.
Duties and Responsibilities:
In charge of the overall management of the department and its function.
Monitors and analyzes accounting data and produces financial reports or statements.
Responsible in FS preparation and presentation, internal and external.
Prepares budget planning/forecast from time to time depending on the need and requirements.
Establishes and enforces proper accounting methods, policies, and principles
Coordinates and completes annual audits.
Signs/approves documents originating from the department, which includes AP vouchers, Journal vouchers, advances, etc.
Regularly prepares management reports
Improves systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
Assigns projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy
Meets financial accounting objectives
Establishes and maintains fiscal files and records to document transactions.
Works/represents with the government or private entities if needed.
Communicates and cascades policies and processes implemented in the company.
Conducts performance evaluation of staff under his/her department.
Trains and guide staff under his/her department regarding best practices, policies, and processes.
Delegates and directs tasks and objectives to staff to achieve maximum process efficiency.
Assists the company to achieve its goals, directives, and objectives
Minimum Qualifications
BSA (CPA)
4 - 5 years of experience in Audit and Accountancy
From an auditing firm is an advantage
Maintains the quality of the output
Has significant latitude to make decisions in the accounting functions in consultation with CEO
Excellent people management skills
Ability to meet schedules and deadlines
Team working skills
Persistent
Excellent analytical & problem-solving skills
Willing to work in BGC, Taguig City - Onsite
Willing to work from Monday to Saturday (Flexible schedule)
