The role of the Accounting Assistant will be as follows:
Assist the FP&A Lead in the financial statements monthly closing process and reporting to parent company
Work closely with External Accounting Provider
Monitor daily bank balances and assist in cash management, cash flow planning and reporting
Assist in tax and local regulatory compliance
Provide assistance to other departments on the use of Concur, NetSuite and other accounting/finance related concerns
Assist in internal and external audits
Perform other FP&A assistance related tasks
Experience within Energy Storage markets is an advantage but is not mandatory, an agile mindset and comfort working in a fast-paced start-up technology led environment is essential.
Experience & Qualifications
The successful candidate must have a minimum of 1 year relevant experience in financial reporting and closing month end procedures.
He/She must be proficient in the use of MS Office and preferably has experience in the use of accounting software such as NetSuite.
Education: With Bachelor's Degree in Business Studies major in accounting. CPA preferred but not required.
Languages
Fluent in English and Filipino required
