Responsibilities:
Perform and review worldwide daily cash application and reconciliation
lockbox and wire transfers
Work with cross functional teams such as billings, AR/collections, GL to resolve payment questions
Identify and apply for or review for all payments assigned; ensure that all payments are posted in the system accurately and timely
Responsible for managing the cash app email alias and respond to inquiries timely
Perform month end close tasks such as cash payment reconciliation, bank account reconciliations, credit card in transit JEs, payment fee accrual, reclass of foreign payments etc.
Participate in systems testing such as new payment gateway launch, new bank BAI file set up, new entity set up etc.
Document new desktop procedures, workpaper for the assigned tasks
Assist with internal and external audits or special ad hoc projects as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
Prior experience with cash app/reconciliations required
Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience
Familiar with month end close process, account reconciliations and journal entries
Must possess strong MS office skills including excel functions such as pivot tables, vlookups, and capable of handling high volume of data
Detail oriented, analytical and problem solving mindset
Highest business integrity and strong sense of ownership
