The primary role of the Financial Analyst is to provide extensive business partnering and financial support to the Technical Support organization. You will oversee financial planning, forecasting, headcount reporting, and scenario analysis for the Technical Support leadership team. This is a cross functional role, where you will partner with multiple functions including HR, Accounting, and Corporate Finance to deliver accurate financial forecasting, meaningful performance updates, and business improvement / insights. Comfort in a fast paced, dynamic business environment, excellent communication and analytic skills, and comfort with data are key to success in this role.
Duties and Responsibilities
Act as finance business partner to the Technical Support organization
Build deep business partner relationships across the organization, establishing trust and gaining an understanding of relevant business drivers
Partner with cross functional teams to manage headcount, software & IT expenses, and discretionary spend
Build and maintain the annual OPEX budget and hiring plan
Manage forecasting and close processes (monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts, scenario modeling)
Prepare monthly and quarterly management reporting - analyzing financial results, distilling/synthesizing key trends, assessing current and future business risk, and communicating key messages to senior management
Build robust weekly headcount reports to explain hiring trends over time and analyze variances to the quarterly plan
Partner with the Technical Support and Data Science teams to develop dashboards & KPIs in the business intelligence environment
Be results and service oriented and have the ability to make progress with incomplete information
Job Qualifications
4+ years of relevant experience in FP&A
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics with a strong knowledge of Accounting principles
Preferably CPA
Excellent knowledge of the G Suite and MS Office Suite productivity software tools
Preferred knowledge of Anaplan, Salesforce, NetSuite tools
Established experience in budgeting & reporting of financial results, financial analysis
Knowledge of core accounting concepts
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must have strong background with Business Analysis / Data Reporting
Must be amenable to work on a day shift (Manila time)
