A leading international healthcare services provider is looking for a remote Webmaster to maintain and ensure optimum usability, aesthetics excellence, performance & security of the company's website and related digital assets.
This is a remote position. We welcome candidates from any location. Resumes are to be submitted in English.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Usability & Content
Govern website quality and implement new requests through a deep understanding of how the client's websites attract and engage with online audiences.
Gather & translate the user requirements of marketing & other business stakeholders into features & functionalities specifications for development teams. Project manage to deliver all web requests, from template changes to feature enhancements to ensure website requests are completed with the highest level of aesthetics with maximum usability and functionality.
Manage content and assets creation on CMS by collaborating with content owners to ensure that website content & features are updated including image resizing, wireframe design/re-design, and installing/testing off-the-shelf plug-ins/features.
Support marketing team on related website revamp tracks, i.e. governance of functional design, user acceptance testing, user manual creation, and migration of SEO necessities. Ensure websites are tested and working across browsers, operating systems, and devices.
Stay up to date on the web's latest technologies to ensure websites and products are mobile-first and multi-platform ready and be the consultant to the digital marketing team. Provide best-practice usability guidance to stakeholders & development teams to ensure functional and easy-to-use websites.
Monitor and report site performance (e.g traffic, conversions).
Technical Site Management
Monitor & optimize site performance (site analytics, page loading time, broken links, & capacity) and address user complaints.
Test new versions/pages and debug pages & fix broken links or images.
Work with IS or security teams to ensure site security to protect from unauthorized access, attacks, or defacement.
Analytics and Tracking
Support Google Tag Manager to support all tagging needs and ongoing housekeep of tags.
Support Google Search Console and My Business for all necessary updates and validation.
Ensure accurate tracking of website features to deliver technical performance reports.
REQUIREMENTS
Previous experience as a Webmaster or Web Developer with a good understanding of web analytics.
Familiar with web standards, content management systems (eg: WordPress), SEO, and current best practices.
Knowledge of tools for website management and UI practices for both mobile and desktop.
Proficient in HTML/CSS and XML and knowledgeable in CSS, Javascript, and SQL. Familiarity with multilingual web development
Knowledge of digital best practices to ensure websites meet and exceed international web standards and protocols.
Experience with the Sitefinity content management system is an added advantage.
Ability to analyze traffic metrics and report and has a keen eye for good design.
Can work effectively with cross-functional teams.
