Account Technology is recruiting a virtual administration assistant for the below role. The successful candidate will be contracted by Account Technology for contract and payment purposes. however will work directly with the hiring company (Talking Tax and Accounting Pty Ltd) and will be reporting to them.
Talking Tax and Accounting Pty Ltd is a successful small business accounting and taxation firm, led by experienced accounting professional and founder Paul Talkington. They provide tax and accounting advisory services to Australian business clients.
This role will start as soon as possible. The role will be working from home so the candidate will need to have a suitable work station and a capable laptop/PC with a minimum of 4GB RAM. The successful candidate will ensure their work area is quiet and can facilitate a work environment with minimal background noise. A quality internet connection is required and is reimbursable to the employee. Checks will be conducted at interview stage.
The work schedule is full-time, 40 hours per week over 5 days per week. The hours are 6:30am to 3pm Manila time with a half hour lunch break. The public holiday schedule that applies to this role is QLD, Australia, which can be viewed at the following link .

The administration assistant role has become available due to Talking Tax and Accounting's strong growth and adoption of online software and systems, along with Paul wanting to leverage his tax and accounting expertise by reducing administration responsibility.
The Virtual Administration Assistant will be required to complete the following tasks:
Administration and monitoring of various programs
Creation of administration documents
Using Microsoft office and outlook as required
Other administration duties as required.
Candidate Requirements
1 to 5 years experience in an administration related role
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Fluency in both written and spoken English
An independent contractor licence or the ability to acquire
A professional and courteous phone manner
Ability to work independently and to a time schedule
Strong communication with Paul regarding job status
Favourable Attributes/Experience
Accounting firm experience and/or knowledge
Prior experience working from home
Benefits
You will be engaged as an independent contractor. You will receive payment to your bank account in Philippine Pesos from Account Technology (the payment provider) although you will be reporting to Talking Tax and Accounting Pty Ltd
The salary will be 30k pesos per month. Payment is on the 10th of each month and covers the month prior.
The remuneration package figure is all inclusive and no additional health insurance or any other benefits (such as paid leave) will be provided.
The candidate can negotiate leave with Talking Tax and Accounting management however it will be unpaid as this is factored into the monthly salary. An hourly rate will be deducted from the next monthly salary. As the working hours are 8 hours per day, 8 hours of leave will be deducted from the monthly salary for leave days.
