Dash10 Managed Services, a representative office of Zeald, a New Zealand-based company, is looking for a competent, enthusiastic, positive, and self-motivated individual to join our team as a Video Editor.
Zeald is one of the largest full-service website design, online marketing, and e-business consulting companies in New Zealand, and has been voted 'Best Web Developer' in the country. Zeald helps NZ & Australian businesses who are frustrated by the lack of leads and sales they get from their websites & and other online marketing activities.
The purpose of your role is to create video content for Zeald and its clients to be posted on a range of digital channels including web pages, social media, webinars, and on Youtube. You will be in charge of creating graphics, doing animations and editing clips that fit the company's branding. You will also coordinate with the marketing and creative teams to develop video concepts that are in line with the desired messaging and style.
Key Responsibilities:
* Liaise with the Marketing Supervisor or Marketing Specialist on the details of every video editing task. You'll be checking in with them regularly, either by email or Google Chat.
* Ensure that you have a proper understanding of the task brief.
* Tailor the style of the videos to the company's branding.
* Search for video collaterals and images to be used in each video you create.
* Work with the creative team to ensure that the visual elements in each video are in line with the overall look and feel we're aiming for.
* Research about that target audience's preferences.
* Identify fresh and interesting ways to capture the target audience's attention through video.
* Follow ideal video formats and lengths according to the online platform they'll be posted on.
* Work with your peers to review your work.
Key Attributes:
* Relevant work experience in the same field with exposure to international companies/clients for at least 2 years
* Strong work ethic and high level of commitment to the role.
