The Workday Time and Absence Senior Business Analyst is a senior level position with the Time and Absence Global Process team and will be responsible for accomplishing results through the management of a team. Providing support to the team undertaking requirement analysis with Stakeholders, documenting the system requirements and end to end support of the system change. The overall objective of this role is to ensure the seamless delivery of system changes in alignment with Citi's strategic direction for global time and absence technology offering.
Responsibilities:
Support the team with in-depth analysis with Stakeholders on Workday system requirements with the Time and Absence taxonomy
Support the team with documenting the business requirements gathered to allow the business and technology teams to understand the need/change
Support the team in being able to articulate the impact for payroll as required
Support as required during the development and testing phase
Change management activities, knowledge articles
Support to operational teams, during and post implementation
Ability to multi-task and manage various project elements simultaneously such as requirements gathering, testing and other project management tasks.
Ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
Exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
Conduct performance evaluations, compensations, hiring, disciplinary actions, and terminations of team members as well as maintain appropriate staffing requirements
Manage professional teams/departments through delegation of tasks and responsibilities
Monitor the team's quality and efficiency of end results and manage all training and development needs of assigned personnel
Provide evaluative judgment based on analysis of information in complicated and unique situations
Qualifications:
6-10 years of relevant Workday business analysis experience with background in Financial Services Industry (Commercial Banking related experience is an advantage)
Extensive experience of implementing end-to-end system changes within the Time and Absence arena
Global experience working on system projects
Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
Ability and experience working in a fast paced, high pressure environment
Proven organization and time management skills
Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
Education:
Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
Master's degree preferred
