The Finance Reporting Senior Manager is a senior management level position responsible for accomplishing results through the management of a team or department in an effort to provide regulatory analysis and reporting in coordination with the Finance team. Additionally, the Finance Reporting Senior Manager leads the team to ensure that reporting is occurring within a strong and effective control environment, with issue identification and remediation occurring in a timely fashion. The overall objective of this role is to ensure business/department financials are prepared and delivered in a timely and accurate manner and ensure adherence to regulatory requirement and internal policies.
Responsibilities:
Drive the analysis and submission of local statutory reporting broker/dealer and shared service entities in the country.
Oversee closing the books and sub-ledgers, including passing appropriate required adjustment entries and consolidating financials at the end of each accounting period
Lead the team to ensure adequacy of existing controls and compliance thereto; and instituting new controls and processes to ensure risk are identified, mitigated/addressed, and escalated on a timely manner.
Manage overall coordination requirement during internal and external audit covering Controllers reporting and processes (i.e. Internal Audit, KPMG, BSP, etc.)
Manage risk and control governance and reporting for the team, including monitoring, analysis and reporting of errors/ issues, conduct and administration of control assessments and related reporting.
Manage legal vehicle and local regulatory reporting governance and reporting in the country, including participation in governance forums such as Account Review Forum and legal entity Audit Committee and Board meetings
Lead the legal vehicle simplification activities in the country
Communicate with peers within the firm and externally, including regulators and professional organizations
Work closely with our CSC partners to fulfil local reporting responsibilities
Provide advice to internal clients on the implications of business trends, issues, operating environment changes, and firm or business unit strategy
Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
Ability to manage team.
Qualifications:
6-10 years of relevant experience
Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
Ability to work with counterparts in different areas of organization
Ability to manage workstreams in parallel and multitask
Proven organization and time management skills
Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
Strong understanding of Citigroup internal control procedures and compliance requirements
Education:
Bachelor's Degree/University degree or equivalent experience
Chartered Accountant or CPA is preferred

processes
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to build strong relationships and interact with all levels in the organization
