The Finance Reporting Senior Manager is a senior management level position responsible for accomplishing results through the management of a team or department in an effort to provide regulatory analysis and reporting in coordination with the Finance team. Additionally, the Finance Reporting Senior Manager develops reporting and control procedures to accurately prepare information required for financial reporting and analysis. The role is a strategic position within FRSS LAI-Service Delivery and will require significant partnership with other global teams and global process owners including Technology, Country Finance, CAA, ICT and Product Control Group.
Responsibilities:
Leads & manages maintenance processes across multiple platforms from P2P, General Ledgers and Reporting Engines. This position will report to the Manila FRSS Service Delivery head and will work to stabilize and upgrade processes, work with business and technology to ensure delivery of capabilities within data management.
Lead and direct a team of professionals and manage complex/critical/large professional disciplinary areas
Strengthen the maintenance operating model in accordance to SLA - Partner with key stakeholders to ensure delivery
Lead regional and support global data maintenance activities
Ensure process Efficiencies and improved quality as per business case
Manage and escalate issues impacting data maintenance
Communicate with peers within the firm and externally, including regulators and professional organizations
Provide advice to internal clients on the implications of business trends, issues, operating environment changes, and firm or business unit strategy
Deliver a full range of services to one or more businesses or geographic regions
Utilize comprehensive knowledge of multiple areas within Finance and how they interact in order to achieve the goals of the Finance department
Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
Ability to manage teams.
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
Qualifications:
6-10 years of relevant experience
Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
Ability to work with counterparts in different areas of organization
Ability to manage workstreams in parallel and multitask
Proven organization and time management skills
Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
Education:
Bachelor's Degree/University degree or equivalent experience
Master's degree preferred
