Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager who will lead the creation and implementation of strong accounting processes and policies that promote transparency and accountability. The candidate will report to the US Accounting Manager and will manage a group of six.
Responsibilities
Provides management with accurate and complete project financial information including financial statements, variance reports, financial analyses, and statistical reports; supervises compliance with all accounting and financial requirements of the management.
Oversees and trains others on the preparations or review the general ledger entries by maintaining records and files and reconciling accounts.
Oversees the overall day-to-day operations of the department and ensures that transactions are posted accurately and in a timely manner.
Prepares weekly, monthly, year-end financial and management reports.
Maintain and prepare a variety of complex financial statements, reports, and analyses.
Propose adjustments to accurately report orders and sales details. Follow through to ensure proposed corrective actions are implemented.
Analyze and validate variances to identify reason for variances and possible actions to eliminate and/or justify the variances.
Analyzes gathered information & data using descriptive analytics, trend analysis of current numbers against expected numbers.
Oversees the books and records of multiple corporate departments, including month-end closing entries, account and intercompany reconciliations, cash management, budgets, variance analysis and invoice coding.
Provides guidance and support for our consolidation reporting.
Coaches, counsels, and disciplines employees.
Accomplishes department objectives by managing staff; planning and evaluating department activities.
Ensures a safe, secure, and legal work environment.
Develops, coordinates, and enforces systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards.
Defines objectives, identifies, and evaluates trends and options, chooses a course of action, and evaluates outcomes.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
Candidates must possess a master's degree with CPA or Chartered Accountant credential.
3-5 years related experience in US accounting/bookkeeping.
Understanding of US GAAP, Reporting, and accounting principles; experience working with US companies is preferred.
Experienced with process automation and making operational improvements.
Highly proficient in using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams)
Experienced in ERP (Dynamic 365) Software
Should have strong analytical and planning skills.
Proven ability to set priorities and deadlines, work independently with little to no supervision.
Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Experience supervising and developing staff.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Willing to work on a night shift schedule.
Temporary work from home and will be moved to Hybrid work
