Job Description
 
The Sales Executive is part of the Sales Department at Khiri Travel Philippines, a hive of creative and commercial activity. At the core of our work is making our clients fall in love with our knowledge, efficiency, creativity and punctuality. Our clients are specialist tour operators from around the world, for whom the Sales Executive creates itineraries and calculates costs resulting in successful sales and happy travelers with their excellent knowledge of destination Philippines. The Sales Executive adds value in all communications, enthusiastically uses our IT systems and cooperates with all team members in the company.
 
Reporting to: Sales Manager
 
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, Design and Customize travel itineraries in our system with passion, prioritizing our preferred hotels and experiences
Know our preferred suppliers and effectively communicate the virtues of including these in our proposals
Make quotations with accuracy and commercial mindset
Add value to client communications, by pro-actively giving relevant advice and exceeding expectations in efficiency, punctuality and friendliness
Use Khiri IT systems as per instructions, consistently and precisely
Translate your passion for "destination Philippines" in all your communications
Handover successful sales to Reservations and ensure correct implementation of your created program
Follow up with your programs with a double-check prior to departure and keeping in touch with agents during operations
Collaborate with colleagues in different departments, such as Reservations, Accounting and Operations and with colleagues in other Khiri countries when it pertains to multi-country itineraries
Build long-term relationship with our overseas partners and local suppliers
Follow the Khiri Code of Conduct and enthusiastically adopt the Company's Mission, Purpose and Core Values
What we're looking for:
Philippines National
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Tourism, Business or Communications
At least 2-4 years' work experience in Tourism or Hospitality
Hard working and accountable
Open to learn new systems
Good English communication skills, in particular written communications
Positive attitude and sincere desire to learn on the job
Responsible team player who can thrive working independently

What we offer:
Full time, 5 days a week, with flexible scheduling (office is open 6 days a week and open on public holidays)
Based at our Cebu City office
A friendly and outgoing team, that celebrates successes frequently
Career advancement opportunities in the Khiri Travel DMC organization
12 holidays per year, 1 additional day for each year of employment to a maximum of 18 holidays per year
3-month probation
Salary: per month based on experience & skills (different from the rate during probation period)
Annual discretionary bonus
