Responsibilities
Prepare monthly management accounts, budgets, and forecasts using Sage Accounting System, simPRO job costing system and other bespoke information streams.
Perform variance analysis to understand differences between forecasted and actual performance.
Collaborate with different teams to provide financial insights and guidance.
Ensure financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported.
Assist in preparation for annual audits.
Streamline systems and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Breakdown management accounts to sales forecasting on a company and department level, identifying key trends and potential areas of interest or concern.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Management Accountant
Degree or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field
Solid knowledge of basic and advanced accounting principles
Proficient in MS Office, particularly Microsoft Excel, and financial management software such as Sage and simPRO
Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in an understandable manner.
