Alstom Philippines is expanding pool of multi-talented individuals. We are looking for experienced and versatile Track works Engineer.
Office Location: Lot 1, President Carlos P. Garcia Ave. (C5 Extension) San Dionisio, Sucat, Parañaque City, Philippines
What are my responsibilities?
Installation Phase
Preparation, submission and securing work permit from the granting authority
Apply and coordinate for access Permit for ALSTOM and it's sub-contractor from the customer
Conduct tool box talk, verification of tools and equipment as per EHS policy
Ensure that approved drawings and method statements are used for installation
Checking the Mobilization of tools, plant and equipment for installation
Ensure that all site workers and sub-contractors are inducted as per ALSTOM HSE Policy
Conduct installation checking and pre-concrete checking
Manage installation activities and ensure that the assigned activities are completed within the time frame
Ensure quality during installation are within the prescribed track tolerances
Maintain and issue SITE DIARIES and DAILY PROGRESS REPORT and INSTALLTION PHOTO REPORT
Maintain and complete sub-contractor reconciliation
Understand, adapt and implement ALSTOM AZDP Rules
Understand and follow Alstom NCR procedure
Post Installation Phase:
Adjustment and final setting of track within the specified track tolerances
Record and submit post quality inspection check lists
Coordinate and obtain clearance or no objection from customer for onsite checks
Support for Demobilization of tools, plant and equipment
Support for survey team to complete as-built surveys
Support, coordinate, participate and complete in the T&C activities of track work
Ensure closure of all NCR's
What do I need to qualify for this job?
2 - 10 years of related experience in Metro / Mainline Railway projects or 7 years Civil work experience.
2 years of trackwork project experience or 5 years Civil work experience for assistance.
Awareness of Civil quality checking and construction methodologies
Knowledge in MS Office
Good team spirit and communication skills
Initiatives, self-motivated for technical matters and speed learning
Autonomy and rigour
Willing to work in Night Shifts continuously
