Job Description
Your Team
As a member of the web banking development team for client payments, you will be part of a group of highly skilled, motivated and dynamic people that are responsible for very central parts of our highly flexible web banking product with robust architecture based on proven design and usability principles.
When you perform a payment, be it international payments, SEPA payment or Swiss domestic payment and Swiss QR-bill, perform an account transfer, create and manage payment templates and standing payment orders, there is a good chance that you have used our web banking software. We implement the technical web banking framework which enables a seamless handling of payments transactions. We are looking for a motivated software engineer who is interested in the banking business and challenging technical problems. We want you to join us to build on the best web banking software product on the market.
Execute manual and automated test scripts
Give hands-on support for the teams with the implementation of the software testing process
Support users and product owners in their day to day work with test management tools
Become the contact person for software testing related topics and methods especially for test analysis and test design
Help with the planning, control and reporting of project related test campaigns
Participate in the creation of new concepts in testing and testing tools and actively implement the concepts and take over the responsibility for their daily operation
Synchronize your work with international teams from Switzerland, Edinburgh and the Philippines
Qualifications
Qualifications
What you need:
5 years of experience in Test Automation scripting (preferably Cypress - Javascript, Jmeter, Selenium Java) and Manual Testing using Zephyr/JiraAPI - Postman/SoapUI/Basic Linux
Has firm understanding of testing processes and methodologies
Experience in translating user stories/acceptance criteria's into test cases
Experience in Agile methodology and different testing methodologies
Preferably with Banking and Finance domain knowledge
Preferably with ISTQB or CSTE testing certifications
Working knowledge on test automation framework (KDT and DDT) and backend automation framework (Postman, SoapUI, Rest API)
Working knowledge on any database technology (SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle)
Soft skills
Self Organized. Excellent communication skills in English language for co-ordination with teams located globally
Has excellent analytical skills, perseverance, enthusiasm and systematic approach to problem-solving
