Motion Graphics Animator
The Motion Graphics Animator develops state of the art multimedia, web, mobile and application solutions. The focus of this position will include eLearning, marketing and sales support initiatives. The Motion Graphics Animator also troubleshoots development and end-user problems and collaborates with team to solve problems and prohibit future problems/issues. The Motion Graphics Animator has a broad skill set that enables this person to work in many areas of modern media development.
In addition to training development, this role will also require specialization in at least one other media area: video editing, 3D modeling, Web 2.0 Programming or minimum one Object Oriented Language, Animation.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Develop graphic and interactive media solutions for courseware.
Brainstorm new techniques during the initial stages to deliver a creative solution.
Developing storyboards for customized animation solutions.
Designing / Animating backgrounds, sets and other elements of the animated environment.
Develop state of the art eLearning courseware.
Adhere to company and department standards
Create and maintain all appropriate templates
Follow our internal processes
Develop custom solutions as needed
Advise and implement the most effective multimedia and interactive learning objects to deliver high quality eLearning courseware, on schedule and on or under budget.
Collaborating with other departments, designers and creators to finalize projects.
Continually enhance existing media processes, standards, and templates to foster consistent communication across teams.
Strong sense of color, composition, typography, and design principles.
What you'll bring to us:
3-5 years experience as a graphic designer
3-5 years experience with audio and video editing
3+ years experience in animation, cartoon characters and objects
Advanced English skills
Advanced level user of Adobe Creative Cloud applications
Experience with After Effects, Adobe Premiere, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Articulate (Storyline) or other e-Learning and content development tools
Experience in Layouts, Color Theory, Typography
Experience working web technologies and development including XML, CSS, and HTML5 is preferred
Experience facilitating and executing requests from a large and varied set of requestors
Strong communication skills and an appreciation for efficiency
A flawless attention to detail and process
Ability to manage own workload in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment where your role may change and grow
eLearning storyboarding experience is a valuable asset
Strong familiarity with Adult Learning theory and practice
What skills you'll need:
Multimedia development and formats
Working knowledge of web technologies and development
SCORM/AICC/TinCan
JQuery/ PHP/ MySQL is a valuable asset
